We are passionate about helping those in need. We understand that people sometimes fall on hard times and whether it be temporary or long term, we want to help. “Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?” (James 2:15-16). We believe the love of God compels us to help not just spiritually but also physically. We who are blessed with financial resources are blessed to be a blessing to others. This is how we shine our light into a hurting world and allow the love of God to touch the hearts of those who may not have otherwise experienced God’s love. “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them” (Matthew 7:12).
We endeavor to feed those who are hungry by going to the streets and finding those who are in need. Our heart is to give them a home cooked meal as much as possible, supply them with groceries, and hand out toiletries when possible. We will also partner with other organizations around the world that share our passion for feeding the hungry and financially support them in their endeavor as we have been doing with organizations in Jamaica.
There are people who are just one outfit away from being naked, those around the world who are actually naked, and those who simply do not have adequate clothing. I was naked and you gave me clothing (Matthew 25:36). Clothing not only promote self-confidence and social interaction, but also protects against the weather. We will collect, purchase, and donate clothes and other necessities to those in need, both in the US and around the world.
Homelessness is not only a problem in the United States but also around the world. We endeavor to be a part of the solution. We aspire to donate to homeless shelters and partner with those who are building homes for the homeless. We also aspire to donate homes to the homeless, provide information for affordable housing or sheltering, and help people to become first time home-owners. Every person needs a home.
The lack of food, shelter and clothing is often linked to poverty. We would like to help those stuck in a cyle of poverty to build financial stability through entrepreneurship, employment, or education, and spiritual growth. 3 John 1:2 tells us that we will prosper to the extent that our soul prospers. We will provide training through group mentoring not only in becoming financially stable but also in spiriutal freedom, as the two go hand in hand.
We are a Christian based foundation. We encourage people in the Lord by not only showing them the love of God through our giving but also giving them the word of God that can save their soul through the eternal Gift of Salvation. We preach the word not only for salvation but to also strengthen our brothers and sisters in the Lord who have already received salvation. We encourage them to be strong in the Lord and the power of his might. We endeavor to make disciples for Christ and inspire them to be Fishers of Souls, but most of all to know and experience a love relationship with God.
